Dr. Platania brings a wealth of knowledge in quantitative finance and portfolio management. With a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, he further specialized with a Master in Financial Engineering from City University of Hong Kong and a Master in Quantitative Finance from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance, summa cum laude, from Universidad Complutense of Madrid, completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Finance at HEC Liège, and holds an HDR from Aix-Marseille University. His doctoral work was recognized with the Accésit Doctoral Award by the Santander Financial Institute.

With over a decade of experience as an independent consultant and freelance audit support for tax consulting and audit firms, Dr. Rapp is well-versed in the Luxembourg financial center and maintains strong networks with local law, audit, and consulting firms.
